Totally Tilda Challenge ~ 92

Good morning my lovelies.

I'm back today with a card for the new challenge at Totally Tilda where the theme for the next fortnight is
"NO Square Cards".

Yet again, the Boss-lady is dragging me out of my comfort zone and forcing me to try new things!

(OK, so maybe it's not the most un-square card you're ever going to see...but it is my first attempt)

The very un-square card base was cut with a Go-Kreate die.
Tilda Rose Scent has been coloured with the usual DI markers.
The papers are Pion design Fairytale of Spring.

Our very generous sponsor for this challenge is

And the prize for one lucky winner is...

I'm going to enter my card into The Ribbon Girl challenge, where the theme is GREEN
(though my card is a very soft shade of green)

Thanks for looking.
Love 'n' hugs

  3. Goodness me Elaine - did the ribbon & embellishment box empty itself onto the floor & a little elf put all those things on whilst your back was turned??
Love the little birds flying in towards the image balanced beautifully by those butterflies. You really are having an adventure…. Love the greens with the brown touches- very shabby chic & I love the way the upper fishtail of the yellow ribbon echoes the swallow's tails flying just above it - remarkable placing.

  9. I love the big die cut shape, I neeeed some of those! Strange how one never has enough scrap stuff...

The color sheme is just so pretty, gorgeous papers and coloring! The image is so cute, and the bow, bling and lace look stunning. :) I just adore those little butterflies. Quite a lot of stuff today, yet so elegant and clean. :)

  10. Hi Elaine, gorgeous card, lovely soft colours on her dressing gown and with the ribbon. Love the paper with these two little swallows and these cute little butterflies which I often see on your cards. Do you cut them out from other papers? Hope the sun shone on you and the family as it did for us today. Trish

  13. You might have had to come out of your comfort zone a bit but you did it with STYLE !!! Elaine this is just gorgeous. Love the image, the beautiful bow, great shape & all the rest, but HOW do you get your mats sooooo perfect. You must have an amazingly accurate paper cutter... Mine never turn out straight like that. Such a beautiful card with more beautiful papers.
    Hugs, Janie
