Sorry I've not been around, but the weekend was hectic. Very good but hectic. I did manage to sneak a couple of hours in my craftroom yesterday, but with time being so limited, it is a really quick and easy card with a very simple layout.
Very simples! I've still got a few cards to try to make for birthdays and other occasions in June so I haven't quite decided who this is for yet, and I'll add the sentiment later.
List of Goodies:
Image is a LOTV available here, DP is Basic Grey Kioshi from Quixotic Paperie, Flowers are Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts, pearls are from The Hobby House and the fancy photo corner thingy is a Sizzix die.
She's coloured with the usual DI's, one day I'll catch you all out and use my polychromos!
A note to all the ladies expecting parcels to say that they have all been posted 1st class today, so should be with you very shortly.
Thanks for looking and for any comments you may leave.
Love Elaine xx

ReplyDeleteMaybe simple layout but stunning card well put together. Had one of those weekends. Weeek end where did it go.
ReplyDeleteThis card is gorgeous Elaine, you have coloured her really well and the photo corner balances the flower wonderfully. :-) xx
ReplyDeleteI love the pearls & the way the border flowers mimic the floral pattern in the lilac paper. As for that Kioshi - what an amazing combination of colours. I have to say I do like this combination of colours & the way you've highlighted certain colours from the Kioshi in Rosie's outfit is just tremendous. Hope that all makes sense - I was just so captivated I couldn't think or type fast enough.
ReplyDeleteMuch love

Very nice card Elaine, (without being rude)good thing your time was limited, because it just looks great. It's the same with paintings, the hardest part is to stop on time and your card is perfect as it is
