First off, thank you very much for all your comments on my previous post. I've now got a couple of craft shops I'm going to go and have a look around. As for the envelope for bulky cards, I've saved Heathers tutorial and I shall have a go at making my own. You are all wonderful, thank you so much!
It's been another of those weekends where I've not managed to make a thing, but I have got a card to show that I made last week.
I made my card for the Sugar Bowl last weekend, and whilst I had the papers out, I made another card using all the scraps up. I stuck this card in a drawer until after the Sugar Bowl challenge had been posted, then of course I forgot all about it.
I am going to enter this into the current Lili Of The Valley Challenge, I've used a circle for the image and not a rectangle, but I've looked at some of the other cards and seen circles so I hope it's ok? I have followed the rest of the sketch. The prize for this challenge is a host of lovely flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and I would just love to win those, I certainly use enough of them!
List of Goodies:
Image is Fairies On Tiptoe from Lili Of The Valley, DP is the Girls Paperie from Quixotic Paperie, (sob, sob, I've used it all up now. But never fear, I've ordered some more!) flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, pearls are from The Hobby House and she's coloured with DI's. If nothing else, I'm consistent!
The distressing around the image is green, but alas, it still looks yellow on my laptop.
Thanks for looking and for any comments you may leave.
Love Elaine xx

So gorgeous Elaine!!
ReplyDeleteI love the way you use pearls. The image panel for mounting is super too - that large scalloping is so apt for the floral theme of the image. I continue to admire the softness of your colouring & your skill with the Distress Inks.
ReplyDeleteTake care in the coming week.

ReplyDeleteHi - I read your problem below about buying bazzill and thought I would share this link with you, it tells you what bazzill sheets match different paper lines - I use it all the time as I am very OCD about matching my cardstock! Hope it helps,
