Ok, this is going to be the length of a novel, so may I suggest a toilet break first and make a brew - even a sandwich to keep you going!
First off, the winner of the Easter candy.I apologise for the lateness in posting the winner but we've been out.
17 years ago today the lovely Phil took me up the aisle- so to speak! Yes it's our wedding anniversary. Lord alone knows how my lubbly hubbly has put up with me for so long, but I am thankful that he has. So we've been over to my Mum and Dads and taken them out for lunch, very nice it was too but I am now late with everything!
So without any further waffle:
Mr Random did his job and picked a winner and I laughed when I saw the number 16, as it's the 16th today and our wedding anniversary..fate? Anyhow, congratulations to JudeB, if you could please
EMAIL ME with your full postal address and I will get your winnings posted off to you.
Thank you everyone that entered, I'm always sorry that there can be only one winner but....there is more to come.
As I said in an earlier post, it will be the 1st anniversary of my move to living in blog land on April 26th. I am amazed at how quickly this year has flown by. I knew absolutely nothing about blogging and I was a nervous wreck for the first couple of weeks. I'm still not sure what I'm doing half the time, but I have thoroughly enjoyed the last 12 months and have met some wonderful people and forged some true friendships.
So of course I wanted to put some candy together to celebrate the occasion.
Guessed what they are yet?
Do you remember when you were little and went to your friends birthday parties? What was the best thing about the party? Leaving and getting a party bag on the way out! I was always so excited and couldn't wait to get back home to see what surprise was in the bag. Usually a piece of birthday cake wrapped in a napkin, by the time you got home the cake was all squashed and the napkin stuck to it like s**t to a blanket! You also got some sweets or chocolate, and a toy. A yo-yo or how about the coveted plastic ring with an almost fluorescent 2 carat size gem?
So my candy will be party bags.
No squishy cake or plastic rings in here!
Sorry about the quality of the photo, it was hard to get a clear photo as they are all packed in cello bags.
All the kits contain roughly the same thing. Three unmounted rubber stamps:
1 Sugar Nellie Simply Sassy stamp from the latest release (set 6).
1 LOTV stamp from the latest release of animals.
1 hAnglar & stAnglar stamp from a variety of kits.
Some 6x6 card stock, 6x6 DPs and various embellishments.
Now some kits are larger than others simply because some paper ranges contain more than others.
This is the smallest of the party bags ( no Sassy in here yet as they are ordered but not delivered yet)
This is one of the larger party bags.
I have ordered the remaining stamps, the Sassys, and am waiting for them to be delivered, which I expect to be next Tuesday. Once I've added a Sassy to each kit then I will seal the bags and seal the jiffy bags ready to post, so even I won't know who gets what.
I will put the candy's on my blog hopefully next Tuesday, and one bag at a time. I will put which hanglar kit that stamp has come from ( kit 11 limited edition, kit 24 hugs, kit 25 beach, kit 26 messenger or kit 27 attitude) please let me know if you want me to post pictures of the kits.
I will put one kit on for one day only, then when Mr Random has drawn that winner I will put a new one on.
You are free to enter for as many of the 10 kits you like (or for none if you don't like them!) but if you win one then can I please ask that you don't enter for any more.
I know it's not one huge candy like some folks offer, because I wanted to divide up the 30 stamps to give 10 people a chance to win something.
It will be open worldwide but to my regulars only, after all you are the people that make it all worthwhile. This way my regulars get more of a chance of winning. I apologise in advance to those I will upset, I do value all my followers and I do offer regular candy's to my followers.
Ok, if you are still with me and haven't lost the will to live, I've written all this up today because A) I don't have much spare time when I'm in work and B) It makes it so much easier next week to just pop the candy on without all this additional info.
I've tried to make this as clear as possible but don't hesitate to ask if there's anything that's not clear.
Thanks for looking and I will be back as soon as the Sassys arrive.
Love Elaine xxx
