Yes, I have been even quieter than usual...but then I know that's a relief to some folks!
We've been on a little jaunt to see the apple of my eye ~ Miss Poppy. Yep..she is still as sweet and squishable as ever, and just about the happiest little bunny I've ever seen.
You might be thinking that I'm biased? But it can't be so, as her Mummy and Daddy and Grandpa think exactly the same thing and I'm sure we can't all be wrong :)
OK, so today I'm back in action with a card for the Sugar Bowl challenge. We have a fab sketch from Sweetie Kiki with an optional of theme of 'Love'. Perfectly fitting for this time of year with Valentines Day just around the corner.
I really couldn't decide which of my many Sugar Nellie stamps to ink up, but then Maria told me she would be using Elise, one of my older but still much loved images (sorry...but she's a very popular girl and all sold out at the moment) and I really wanted to ink her up too!
She's been coloured with DI's as is the norm for me. These gorgeous papers were a gift off a very lovely lady in The Netherlands..thank you very, very kindly...though I love them so much that cutting them seemed a crime! I had to immediately go and buy some more....phew, panic over!
They are available in 12x12 and 6x6 sizes from Crea Duymelot and are Pion Design From My Heart collection.
Another very simple card with minimal embellishments, just a few pearls and some SU seam binding on the tag.
The prize for one lucky winner chosen at random is their choice of any 4 Sugar Nellie stamps, rising to 6 stamps if we reach 100+ entries.
As always, there are a fabulous array of cards made by the Sweeties over on the Sugar Bowl to give you a little inspiration.
Thanks for looking.

Hi Elaine
ReplyDeletewhat a delectable card, loving those gorgeous paper's (I'm not surprised to hear that you had trouble cutting into them) lol.
Glad to hear that you've been on jaunt to see little Poppy, (BUT word of warning) make the most of those squishy hugs because they don't last forever. My eldest grandson who is now 13, hate's being hugged/kissed etc, he tries to dash out of the door when he visit's us, just so he doesn't have to have a grandma hug rotfl.
hugs
