Good Morning Sugar Addicts.
We are back (at long last!) in action after taking a break for our Summer vacations.
I apologise for my lack of blogging/commenting recently (I shall endeavour to catch up this week) we have been away ourselves on a little jaunt.
We only went up to the Lake District, not too far to travel as we had 2 small passengers on board with us.
I now fully understand - and appreciate - why Mother Nature stops women of my age (generally) from having children...cos we are too darn old! Sheesh but I'm knackered! And girls are so much more hard work than boys are! I was not thrilled when our two nieces were awake at 4.15am on the first morning...do they not know I need 10 hours sleep each night or I am very grumpy? Little Monsters!
Anyhow...back to the job in hand, my mind is all over the place, flitting here and there like a butterfly, must be because I'm overtired!
Today we have a new challenge over on the Sugar Bowl with a fab sketch to follow from Sweetie Maria and the optional theme of butterflies.
This sweet little fairy is Delia and as usual she's coloured with DI re-inkers and markers.
The gorgeous papers are Inkido Forever collection again...I just love this set sooo much, and of course they have butterflies on them :)
The butterfly embellies are a mix of MFT dies (above the sentiment) Prickly Pear dies and stamps (top left) and PTI dies and stamps (bottom left).
I think I managed to cover the theme this time!
DI colours:
Skin - Tattered Rose and Tea Dye.
Hair - Antique Linen and Vintage Photo.
Blue shades - Tumbled Glass, Stormy Sky and Faded Jeans.
Green shades - Shabby Shutters, Forest Moss.
Wand - Sparkling Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade.
As always, there is a prize chosen at random for one lucky winner, their choice of any 4 Sugar Nellie stamps, rising to 6 stamps if we reach 100+ entries.
Please pop on over to the Sugar Bowl and you can see the gorgeous cards from all the other Sweeties AND we have some new Sweeties that have joined our little family, I hope you will extend a very warm welcome to them all :)
Sadly, today will be Lilians last challenge..sniff sniff...I luvs Lils and am so sorry to see her leave us :(
Good luck in all you do Lilian..big hugs xxx

Your soft subtle colours are gorgeous & work so well with these papers - the butterfly embellishments being varied in shape is a nice touch too. I love your use of pearls for the butterfly bodies & quite frankly - your minimalist style is a joy to see......it just says "Elaine" to me.
