OK, time to crack on with the 2nd candy.

I was thinking along the lines of shabby chic and vintage...a perfect description of  myself except I'm not very chic :)

The 2nd candy consists of:

Pion Design papers.

One set of Alma's Sewing Room papers and 

One set of Fairytale Of Spring papers.

Each set comprises of 6 sheets 12 x 12 size (each sheet is made up of 4 designs 6 x 6 in size.)

2 x Tim Holtz Distress ink pads ~ Antique Linen and Walnut Stain.

2 packs of lace from the Hobby House ~ one in white and one in cream.

1 pack of 'Message in a bottle' - 5 little glass bottles with cork stoppers.

2 packs of Frantage ~ Shabby Blue and Shabby White.

Rules of entry are exactly the same as before:

The candy is open worldwide, though I am not liable for any customs charges that some countries impose.

Candy is open to my followers only, new and existing, but please have a conscience, don't become a follower just to enter!

Maja Design ~ Candy Winner.

A very quick post today, just to announce the candy winner and say 'Thank You' to everyone that entered.

We've been out to our nieces 9th birthday party, so I apologise for the delay...we were busy eating pink birthday cake.

I'm always sorry that there can only be one winner picked, but I have more candy to pop on here. If the hubby gets home early enough tomorrow night then he will take a photo for me - he does a far better job of it than I do! And as soon as I have the photo I will get it  posted on here...I think the next one should be my other favourite papers...Pion Design.

3 Year Blog Candy ~ My Favourite Things ♥

I have made some cards, but they are all for occasions next week, and so I will wait until the recipients have opened them before posting the photographs on here.

And so, until then I have some of My Favourite Things to share with you :)

My little blog will be celebrating it's 3rd birthday on April 26th. 

I still can't quite believe it's been 3 years since my first shaky post, when I really had no idea what I was doing - some days I still wonder if I know what I'm doing!

The most amazing thing about blogging is the wonderful people you meet, and I have made some of the nicest, sweetest, bestest friends along the way. Friends from all over the world, that mean the world to me.

Friends that are multi talented, inspirational and some of them are stark raving bonkers...I won't name names, you know who you are lol.

And there are followers of my blog...I am constantly grateful for the readers that pop by to view my cards and read my ramblings, and so I have put together some candy, my way to say 'Thank You'.  

As always, I would rather split the candy up into smaller lots rather than have just one big one...I like to share the love around :)

I have gathered together My Favourite Things ~ papers/stamps/dies and embellies that I love...Pion Design, Maja Design, Whimsy, Magnolia, PTI, The Hobby House etc 

The first candy consists of:

Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics 6x6 paper pad. 60 sheets of double sided papers.

This is without a doubt the nicest pad of papers I've ever bought, I totally LOVE them all.

Whimsy Stamps - Wee Suzi....I loved being on the GDT for Wee Stamps during February...I just didn't want the month to end!  S'ok, I've almost stopped crying now :(

Magnolia - Sitting Tilda with Butterfly from the latest release.

From The Hobby House:

Ivory Silk 4mm adhesive pearls.

Ivory Silk 6mm and 8mm adhesive pearl hearts.

Heart shaped diamante ribbon sliders and a selection of diamante spacers.

And some gorgeous lace in pink and blue which goes beautifully with the Maja papers.

Sweetheart Marci ♥

I know this is a little late in the day, but I wanted to wait until the recipient had opened the card before posting it on here.

I still struggle to colour hair, always have done and probably always will, but Marci has wonderful hair and I totally enjoyed colouring her.  (I feel another rubber fetish coming on! )

So...I made the card to give to my lovely hubby on our Wedding Anniversary, yep I know it's not a very masculine card, all delicate and feminine, BUT there is only a minuscule amount of glitter on it and no flowers at all - apart from on the papers - so it's about as masculine as you're going to get from me.

And I love this stamp and was desperate to ink her up :)

Sweetheart Marci is coloured with Distress Inks, mainly the markers.

The gorgeous papers are Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics (the same as in my current candy). You'll be seeing a lot of these papers..I love them all!

Sugar Bowl Challenge ~ 102

It's time for a new challenge over on the Sugar Bowl.

The theme again is a nice and easy 'Anything Goes' and the only rule is that you must use a Sugar Nellie image, either a rubber stamp or a digital image.

The hardest part for me is choosing which of my rubber babies to ink...I loves them all, but I do confess to having some extra special favourite stamps, and this one is my most favourite rubber baby ever....

Awwwww...isn't Pippi Longsocks just gorgeous?

She's coloured with DI re-inkers and markers...the more I use the markers and the more I love them!
I always use at least 2 different papers but this one is so pretty that I didn't have the heart to cover it up,
Bildmalarna - Welcome - Lovely World from Dies To Die For.
The sentiment is from PTI, and a few punched MS butterflies.

As always, there is a prize for one entrant chosen at random, their choice of any 4 Sugar Nellie stamps.
