Wee Flower Fairy


I love fairies ♥
I am absolutely sure that the world would be a much better place if we had tiny, beautiful fairies fluttering above our heads and leaving a trail of sparkly dust in their wake.

I do particularly love the fairies drawn by Sylvia Zet...they are just so perfectly sweet!


The gorgeous fairy is available HERE as a set of digital images or HERE as rubber stamps.

As always, she's been coloured with a mix of DI re-inkers and markers.
The papers are from Pion Design Vintage Garden series, and a sentiment from Whimsy.

I did make this card a few weeks ago but I had to wait until it reached its very special destination before popping it on here.

I am waaayyy behind in leaving comments, but I am trying my best to catch up.

    Ohh, this is lovely! I love the paper design with the fishtail and the dark blue color of her dress. And great way to be able to show off the design of the paper in the corner too!

    Your way with combining patterned paper & colouring of an image is just a real delight. The way the little birds & flowers show here with an elegance reminiscent of a bygone age is just gorgeous - especially when paired with your super flower colours.

    Oh MY Gosh Elaine this is so beautiful !!!
    When I see your posts the 1st thing my eyes are drawn to is the IMAGE !!! It just takes my breath away how perfectly it is colored & although I totally love ribbons & flowers & lace & all the bling that most of use, your work doesn't even need that extra stuff. Your image speaks for itself ... And then there's your GORGEOUS papers ...I just melt & hope someday we can buy that here in the states. LOVE it !!!

    Hi Elaine, your friend must be delighted with your gorgeous card, I love it. Your colouring is so delicate, and blends in perfectly with that pretty birdie papers.
