Well, my week off work is over and it's back to the grindstone again.
I always have a list of jobs I want to get done when we're off work, but this time none of them got ticked off the list - darn it!
But we did do other stuff...we enjoyed a lovely meal out with Emma and her beau at our favourite restaurant. I learned 2 valuable lessons...that Emma is a terrible influence on me *cough* and that I'm far too old to consume champagne, wine, champagne cocktails and shots without suffering the consequences the following day.
We also had a lovely dinner out with Phils Mum, and an equally lovely lunch out with my parents.
With only a fortnight left until Hal travels down to London and Uni, I took him clothes shopping to top up his wardrobe, and then it was shopping for all the other stuff he needs...pans, wok, cheese grater, cooking utensils, oven tray, duvet, tea towels, dish cloths, the list goes on and on, and not forgetting the most important item...toilet paper!
There's a few bits we still need to buy for him, but I think most of it's done now.
So, not much was done in the crafting department at all.
I made this card a couple of weeks ago and it's pretty much the same as the card I made here.
Same image, same colours, papers from the same range...
I love the image Little Tilda and wanted to make another Christmas card with her.
Coloured as always with DI re-inkers and markers.
The papers are Pion Design Silent Night.
Joy! Crafts Winter Wishes Ice Crystal Border with Frantage on the tips.
A sentiment from PTI, a poinsettia made with spellbinders dies, and a few pearls.
Thanks for looking.
Love

It might be the same colours etc...... but it does look quite different with your variations. Love that flower with the pearl & the blue snowflakes are delightful. Glad you've got Hal sorted......it will seem a bit empty when he goes........

Hi Elaine, beautiful Christmas card, love the little poinsettia. The colouring is very soft, ideal for a little girls first Christmas I love it. I do hope Hal settles in quickly and enjoys his new abode, it will be such a change for him moving away from you both. Just think about the years to come when you can go visit him in London for holidays. (once he's made lots of money and staying in a lovely big house!) Have a good week...Trish
