Totally Tilda Challenge ~ 88.

Good Morning my lovelies.

Today I have a card to share for the new challenge at Totally Tilda...which means I am delighted to still be on the team....thank you very much!
We also have a new addition...the amazingly talented and super sweet Linda.

So...the theme for the new challenge is masking.
Now I know this might shock you, but I have done masking before. Yessiree I have!
Once.

I spent ages searching through all my stamps, because although I have lots of (and then some)  images, I don't buy the accessory stamps simply because I don't use them.
But I did find one background stamp!

I'm not quite sure what I was thinking here!!

Now I look at it I can't help but wonder why Tilda would be stood in front of a barbed wire fence?
I'm thinking she nipped over the fence and into the meadow to pick a flower, and then jumped back over quickly in the hope that no-one had seen her...only it looks like she got her knickers caught on the barbed wire and now she's desperately trying to free herself whilst still looking all sweet and innocent!

Card details:
The colouring is done with DI markers.
The papers are Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics.
A sentiment from Whimsy, a Doo Hickey swirl, a couple of punched flowers and a smattering of pearls.

  4. Hahaha, I was just thinking how I loved your backround image, and when I read your interpretation of it I laughed so hard! I think she looks like she is taking a stroll down a country road, and just picked a flower by the side of the road. :)

Fantastic coloring of course, I am forever in awe of how you get such depth and still such light images. Amazing work. :)

Happy birthday to Emma, such a beautiful girl!

    Lots of hugs, Anne.

  6. Oh I was laughing Elaine - the scenario you describe is just so funny but describes the image perfectly too. Anyuhow that isn't what I first saw - my eyes couldn't help but look at the lovely way you coloured the flower she (stole) picked & echoed it with your little floral embellishment.

  11. Hi Elaine, tied up or not she looks gorgeous which is due to your lovely colouring of course. The fence looks cute and I love that wee flower that you use, it looks so good with that swirl. I can remember getting the knickers stuck on barbed wire many a time when we were kids, always climbing through fences when we shouldn't have of course. My generation are so lucky to have all these innocent enjoyable memories, a thing of the past. Happy birthday to Emma, she's a beautiful young girl. Hope your weekend weather has been better than ours, rain and more rain!...Trish
