Totally Tilda Challenge ~ 91

Good Morning my lovelies.

My first card for today is for the new challenge at Totally Tilda, where the theme for the next fortnight is Easter.
Apart from a Tilda image, the card must also contain at least one EGG.

I've never inked this Tilda before (maybe because I've never made an Easter card before!) so it was good to colour her at last, and that was done with DI markers.
The lush papers are from the Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics pad...I've used this pad so much, good job I bought an extra couple of pads just in case of emergency!
A Doo Hickey Heart Swirl die and a couple of butterflies.
Prima Hydrangeas, a few pearls and a sentiment from Stampin' Up.

Our very generous sponsor for this challenge is

Simon Says Stamp

(Please note: where applicable, the winner is responsible for the shipping, handling and tax fees)

Thanks for looking...I'll be back again shortly with my second card! I know, don't faint!
Love 'n' hugs

  1. She looks so beautiful, Elaine! Love the paper, such a great layout! Those butterflies look so gorgeous!

I dont think I have ever done an easter card myself, we hardly know it is easter except for the marzipan eggs at the store and the national holidays that come with it (love those, though!).

Hope you are having a lovely sunday!
    Lots of hugs,
    Anne.

  3. Awww, that little chick is so cute! I love the little handcut butterflies too, they look lovely on the flourish. I have tons of those hydrangeas, need to pull them out more often!

  4. The patterned paper again matches the image beautifully echoing the little design on her dress even though it may not be floral - the shapes of the little violas mimic it. Your butterflies are a gorgeous addition & I love the way they are placed curling along that swirl.

  9. Such a pretty card Elaine, isn't it terrible that we buy stamps & don't use them? I buy papers only to stroke haha, I don't like using my favs, how stupid is that? X

  11. This is adorable and I love this pretty lilac almost as much as I love pink! Running out of Maja DP would certainly constitute an emergency in my craft room!
