And I'm back with my second post for today.
This time I have my GDT card for The Ribbon Girl Magnolia Only Challenge where the theme is
"Buttons and Bows".
For me this is a nice and easy challenge...I have a bit of a fetish for buttons and bows!
Ribbon Girl goodies used:
Wooden Heart Button threaded with Ivory Button Twine
The image is Tilda With Daffodil Basket and as usual she's coloured with DI markers and re-inkers.
The papers are Pion Design Fairy Of Spring - I'm so sad that these have now been discontinued!
There is always a fabulous prize to be won, so head on over to The Ribbon Girl Blog and join in!
Thanks for looking.
Love 'n' hugs

It's gorgeous Elaine!!!! I LOVE your style and your colouring always blows me away!!! Hugs, Brigitte
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely! I really like the layers with the lace and the punched cardstock plus of course your signature butterflies but that is a heck of a Bandonka donk on tilde haha!
ReplyDeleteYour use of the patterned paper is brilliant with the birds flying towards your image panel & then balanced on the opposite side with those tiny butterflies. The details are exquisite - the lace wrapped around the horizontal panel with the flowery edging along the bottom edge echoing the flowers in the lace wrap. Then there's the lovely daintiness in the lace wrap reflected in your blowsy sheer ribbon bow.

Hi Elaine, spoiled for choice and there's no way I could choose one before the other. Your colouring is superb as usual, lovely soft and gentle. The two swallows are very appropriate for this time of year, does Phil photograph birds or just landscapes? Kinds regards to you and your family...Trish x
ReplyDeleteLove the backing papers and the butterflies. Gorgeous colours again. Happy Sunday. Hugs, Carol S.xx
