A big welcome to my contribution for the Sugar Nellie Simply Sassy blog hop.
I LOVE blog hops! They are one of my favourite ways to while away a little time and garner some inspiration.
"If you never did, you should. These hops are fun and fun is good!" I love Dr Seuss too.
So I hope you've all grabbed a cuppa and snuggled down ready for some fun.
You should have arrived here from the gorgeous delights on Judy's Blog to be on the right track, but if not - or if you get a little lost along the way - then please head on over to the Sugar Nellie Blog where Karen will have a list of all the DT members and the order they go in.
I absolutely ADORE all the Sassy stamps and I can never wait to see what the next release will bring. They are just so beautiful and very sassy and set 3 is no exception. And there's......BOYS in this one too!
These stamps are being sold in sets of 2, one girl and one boy in each, for a very sweet price.
For my card I've used Number 1 fan stamp and Fit and Flirty, available to buy HERE. See, I told you they are fabulous! As always they've been coloured with DI's. The DP's are a very old set of Cloud 9 called baby boy and the sentiment is from Paper Makeup.
Because I've not been very well for the last few weeks I hadn't joined in with the current Sugar Bowl Challenge and it is such a lovely sketch so I used it for this card instead.
I hope you've enjoyed your visit today and the next step is to hop on over to Donalda's Blog where there will be another fabulous feast for your eyes.
Now I'm going to grab myself a cuppa, snuggle down in bed for an extra hour and go and follow the hop myself.
Thanks for looking and for any comments you may leave.
Have a great weekend, love Elaine xx

Gorgeous card, love the new images. Hope you feel better soon. Debs xx
ReplyDeleteElaine, first of all I hope you are feeling better and second you never cease to amaze me with the depth you get with distress inks. I have hundreds of copics and your coloring beats mine every time. Might have to have you over and teach me a few things. I will trade 2 weeks of Joe for 2 weeks of Elaine...
ReplyDeleteHi Elaine, hope you're feeling a bit better, think these might be my favourites so far, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYour positioning of that image panel with the point at exactly the middle of that scallop is a piece of engineering construction together with the layering of the sentiment & that ribbon. I love the way the button & the brads (pearls?) match the papers & the altogether subtleness of this. It doesn't shout modern in your face the way you've coloured & combined that with the papers. Lovely piece of work & thank you for keeping on encouraging me again.
ReplyDeletePaula (PEP)
Do take care & I'm thinking of you.
Hi Elaine I must admit that I dont mind these images so much, though the eyes still are a bit strange but I suspect thats why people like them.
ReplyDeleteHope the weather is a bit better with you, love your card its as always stunning and beautiful. That little lad looks a bit like my grandson. With love and hugs Shirleyxxxxx
Hi Elaine
ReplyDeletelove your card, love the way you have coloured that wild hair lol.
Not able to do the blog hop, (as I can only sit at the puter for very short bursts), then start to see star's, and before you say it, NO I wasn't out on the lash last night (I wish), it's all to do with my little op I had last week, so feeling a little hacked off at the mo.
hugs
