I am back today with a card for the new Sugar Bowl challenge. We have a fabby sketch from the one and only Gayle...Sugar Mama and whip cracker extraordinaire! And an equally fabby optional theme of 'paper piecing'.
I LOVE paper piecing! It's something I rarely do because I always forget, but I love doing it and I really enjoyed this challenge.
I had to ink up this beautiful little girl Best Day Ever and out came my favourite Maja Design papers, Fika...which you can buy from the lovely Astrid and Kees at Crea Duymelot.
She's coloured with DI's and SU inkers..though she looks a little washed out here. It's hard to take a decent photo when it's always dark by the time I get home.
The sentiment is from SU, a few pearls and nothing else! This is under-embellished even by my standards, but I liked it better left clean and simple.
