Your Opinion Would Be Greatly Appreciated :)

In 10 days time it will be my blogs 2nd birthday..blimey that went by quickly! And so I have been gathering stuff in readiness for a candy for my current followers. So tonight I got it all down from the cupboard to see exactly what I had amassed...a rather large and varied pile of stuff! It's a mixed bundle of "my favourite things".
Card blanks... papers and pads from Pion, MME, First Edition, Tilda and Prima...toppers from The Hobby House along with paper bags for altering...stamps from Whimsy, LOTV, Stampin'Up, Kaisercraft and sentiments...some nesties and of course embellishements...pearls, flowers, brads, pins, lace etc.

I could offer one big candy or split it into 2 candies or I could make up smaller parcels comprising of papers, stamps and embellishments in each.
So my question is: Which sort of candy appeals to you the most? The ones where there is one large prize on offer or the ones where there are smaller prizes but more of them?

Thank you in advance for any help.
Love

  5. aw i think its so generous to offer any candy at all tbh elaine ;D and i would split it in to little parcels to share the love around.depends on the postage though, it may work out better for you to do just one large candy.

  6. OMG, that sounds like one hell of a candy but personally I would say to split it so more people get a slice of the pie, but this is just me, lol, like to be different. It sounds so yummy.

  8. I think you are very sweet and that it's very generous of you to offer some candy. If I were you I'd probably make some smaller packages of candy. This way you will make several people very happy, not just one. Just adding my two cents. :) Hugs! xx

  11. Doing lots of little ones is going to give you an awful lot of work & I think it's extremely generous of you to give candy at all so I'm going to sit on the fence & say do whatever is best for you. Now since you do ask & I know you want some kind of answer & sitting on the fence isn't helpful I'd say split it. There - I got off the fence after all.
    Much love & take care.

almost congrats on your 2nd anniversary of your beautiful blog sweetie
thank you for the quesstion to us, it's always great to win a prize, big or small, you're very generous sweetie for doing this in the first place
i would say split them up for more winners, but i can't see in to your wallet hunni, more winners mean more stamps, so it's up to you hun, you're really the person to make the decission sweetie, it dosen'd matter who win's, the one that will win is always a happy winner, and always needs to be congrats to.

I think more small candy's would be nicer for us but not for you because you have all those extra costs for sending it by mail.... so as it is your candy you should be the one te decide.... I'm sure I'm going to join in, love your candy's!!!!!

  45. Hi Elaine
A GREAT BIG BIG CONGRATULATIONS on your (nearly) two year blog anniversary, and like you say WHERE did those two years go. I love to visit your lovely blog, it cheers me up no end, so personally I wouldn't mind if you didn't have a blog candy, HOW EVER it is absolutely lovely to receive a lovely treat in the post, makes it feel like Christmas (without all the work/hassle that can sometimes be associated with that time of the year). Again on a personal note, I think perhaps several candies would give more crafters a chance of winning a lovely treat, AS LONG as that isn't/doesn't make more work for you, you are so kind/generous Elaine the last thing any of your followers would want is to make more work for you. What ever you decide to do, I'm sure that folks will be only too happy with YOUR decision.
    BIGGEST of HUGS
    Sandra (craftynan)
P.S. I met the lovely Jill on Saturday at Ally Pally, she was as lovely (as always), spent far too much money BUT as my dear Mum used to say you can't take it with you lol.

You can also place one candy after an other. More followers and two persons happy... hhihih that's great!! I know now what I will do hahahah! It is just great that you will give a candy away in any way ;D Good luck! Hugs, Karin

What a difficult question about Candy, you are so generous and I am sure most people would be very happy to receive a smaller candy knowing more peeps had a chance too win too.Again as the others have said its the postage that spoils everything.
