I am sorry for my lack of cards...if it wasn't for the little candy's then I would have nothing to post at all.
Besides being busy trying to prepare for Christmas - trying, as I've still not finished buying gifts, nothings been wrapped yet and there's about 60 cards that still need writing - busy at work as I need to cram 4 weeks worth of work into 3 weeks this month, and on top of that I'm still not feeling too well.
The cold I had weeks ago is still lingering. I do feel much better in myself though I'm still snotty and have a cough, and for the last 2 weeks I've had a terrible pain in my right side ribs. It only hurts when I cough or bend but it's keeping me awake at night.
I have been advised that I could've cracked a rib...with coughing! So I'm on pain killers and anti-inflammatories to see if they ease the pain and I'm back at the doctors next week. This getting old is no fun I tell ya!
The last of the little candy's...too late for Christmas me thinks!
Whimsy (Sylvia Zett) Let It Snow rubber stamp
Whimsy Winter Notables 1 rubber stamp set
Whimsy Notable 1 die - which coordinates with the above stamps
Whimsy Elegant Notable 1 die - which also coordinates with the stamps.
Memory Box Catalina Wreath Die
As is usual..the candy is open worldwide and is open to my existing followers only.
I want to thank my followers for being there for me, I know too well I haven't been around much in blogland recently but I still get a visit and comments off my lovely followers so my candy's are a way of expressing my thanks to them.
Merry Christmas!
Love Elaine xxx

ReplyDeleteDo take care Elaine - I know that cracked ribs through coughing are not fun at all (had that T-Shirt before & so sorry you acquired one too). I'm glad you went to the doc. I do hope those little time imps can do more of stretching the seconds into minutes for you - now if I could persuade them to steal some of mine to give to you that might work - & it would be a fair swap......shall give them a good talking to.
ReplyDeleteMuch love from me.
Paula (PEP)

Hi Elaine,
ReplyDeleteIt is no fun having a cracked rib brought on by coughing. I did that several years ago. You have my sincere sympathy.
I also think you do marvellously with your blogging seeing as you work full time.
Have a good rest over the Christmas and I am sure you will feel much better in the New Year.
Thanks so much for a chance at the lovely candy.
big hugs
Marion
Oh I hope you getting to feeling better soon, I didn't realize you still weren't up to par. Hopefully after Christmas you will get a little break. I am sending get well wishes your way now so if you trip that just means they hit you.
ReplyDeleteHi Elaine,
ReplyDeleteWow, you're just so generous. Thanks so much for an other chance to win some yummy candy.
Really hope you're feeling better soon. My cold whont go away either, and i'm so sick of it.
Hugs, Yvon
Hi Elaine sorry to hear you are still not 100% I think you need a good holiday speak to that man of yours and I am not saying anything naughty to make you laugh it might hurt those ribs. i do remember this happening to me once I hadnt cracked them but Dr said that I had hurt the muscles not nice when you cant get any sleep. So hopefully you will get some tonight failing that a good strong tody might make you sleep. Nite nite oh I see I got number 69. lol
ReplyDeleteOh no Elaine~~I am sad that you are still not feeling well:( Oh yes you sure could of hurt your ribs--my daughter did that few years ago and they kept brushing it off until she demanded an x-ray 8 weeks later and Oh Yah she fractured a rib!! She then wore a rib belt for comfort.
ReplyDeleteNow friend this candy is SUPER AMAZING!!!! What a wonderful prezzie this would make :)
Blessings of thanks
Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you and yours!
Sarah
That sounds like a very bad cold, Elaine! I hope you are feeling better soon, it's so not fun being sick for Christmas :(

Elaine I'm so sorry to hear about your possible cracked ribs. No good at all! I remember when my older son broke some ribs he had to get muscle relaxers from the doctor. Only thing that gave him relief. Hope you will feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the wonderful candy you are offering.
hugs to you sweetie
Peggy
Hi Elaine...I hope your feeling better soon. Thank you for another chance to win such wonderful candy.
ReplyDeleteTake care.

Hi Elaine
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear that you are still poorly, you make sure tht you get this all sorted, you need to take care. Yep you're right old age sucks, but you are only a spring chicken.
As for the wrapping of the presents, do the same as I've done this year DELEGATE, I've roped hubby my daughter & my grandson into helping me this year,(as I havn't felt 100%).. I have to say their wrapping skills are not like mine (but as hubby says they are only going to rip the paper off anyway) lol. Same as all those other thing's that need doing DELEGATE (I promise you it doesn"t hurt) lol.
As for you worring about not being able to blog (as often as you would like), please please please don't worry about it, I lovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv your post's & really really look forward to reading them, & I would love for you to have the time/energy to post more, BUT I would rather not have any post's from you, if it's going to infringe on your very precious limited time.
A BIG thank you for all the FAB-U-LUS candie's that you have so kindly donated throughout the year.
You take good care of yourself Elaine, hope you are soon back to good health.
With tons of love
Sandra (craftynan)
