Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all my family, friends and followers.

I know I've been missing for almost 3 weeks now! Like everyone else, I was so busy in the run up to Christmas...shopping, wrapping and writing, and since I finished work on Christmas Eve I've not had any time to just sit and write.
But I have to say, we've all had a lovely Christmas and enjoyed the company of good friends and family.
We've either had visitors or been out visiting every day and I'm starting to feel a little fatigued now. I've also been out with friends to see an Elvis impersonator...he was actually very, very good and if I was an Elvis fan then I'm sure I would've enjoyed it more, and I went to see West Side Story at the Palace theatre in Manchester with the hubster...now that was excellent!

I haven't set foot inside my craft room since the first week of December but I hope to get some playtime before I have to go back to work...I think it's going to need a good dusting first!

I hope everyone has enjoyed Christmas (and got lots of crafty stash to play with).
Wishing you a very Happy, Healthy and Blessed 2014, and many thanks for your continued support and friendship.

Totally Tilda Challenge ~ 87

Good morning my lovelies.

I'm sorry I've not been on here recently...more of that later, but I'm back today with a card for the new challenge at Totally Tilda. This will be the last challenge for this year. The theme we have is a nice and easy one for you, "Anything Goes" with an optional added extra of "recycling" if you so wish.

(sorry for the very wonky photo!)

Winter Tilda has been coloured with the usual DI markers.
The papers are Maja Design Vintage Frost basics and the little sentiment is cut from one of the sheets, as is the Finland postage stamp.
I set a good example and added some recycled bits to my card.
The diagonal strip of lace was on a Christmas gift I received last year, I just had to dampen it and iron it flat again. The Norway stamp at the top was peeled off a parcel of papers from Papirgleder and the blue button I snipped off my PJ's. (It's very considerate of clothing manufacturers to be so nice to us crafters and supply spare buttons with clothes...that is why they're put there, right?)
Plenty of glamour dust on Tildas muff and hat pom-poms, a few pearls and a bow made from 15mm Ivory satin ribbon.

There are 3 very generous sponsors for this challenge, please pop on over to the Totally Tilda blog to read all about it, and to see all the fabulous creations from my DT sisters.

So, as I said at the beginning, my apologies for not being on here lately.
We went away last weekend to see Hal in London, travelling down on the Friday and coming back home on Sunday. Hal took us to his favourite places, Camden Market, Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park, Covent Garden and a stroll along the Southbank.
We had a fabulous time but my poor feet were throbbing!

This week I started my Christmas shopping...a tad late I know! I think I'll need to give up sleeping to get on top of everything before the big day arrives. I also bought Christmas cards because I haven't got any handmade ones to send!
I was asked a while ago if I would donate some cards to the Christmas Fayre, to raise money for the Salvation Army and of course I said yes. I did think I would have plenty of time to make some more but I think someone's been stealing the months and wham bam before you know it...Christmas is almost here!

I just have a few more gifts to buy now, presents to wrap and cards to write...I need one of Santas Little Helpers please!

Thanks for looking.

Totally Tilda Challenge ~ 86

Good Morning my lovelies.
It's December 1st today...how on Earth did that happen? I guess I need to start thinking about Christmas!

I'm here today with my creation for the new Totally Tilda challenge. The theme for the next fortnight is
'Anything But A Card' and I chose to dress up a box.

Show the way Tilda has been coloured with the usual DI markers.
I used MFT dies to make the tag and the pretty little paper bow.
A punched snowflake, a couple of Doodlebugs jewels, and a sparkly diamante embellie complete the tag.

The box with an acetate cover is pre-made from Stampin' Up and it's held closed with 25mm satin ribbon tied into a big, fat bow and finished with a Sparkly button.
The box is filled with lovely ribbons from The Ribbon Girl in shades of purple.

Our generous sponsor for this challenge is...

And the prize for one lucky winner is 2 Magnolia stamps.

Please pop on over to the Totally Tilda blog and check out all the amazing creations from my super talented DT sisters.

Totally Tilda Challenge ~ 85

Good Morning my lovelies.

I'm back today with my card for the new Totally Tilda challenge, and we have a fabulous theme for the next fortnight...Buttons and Bows.

I loved making this card...all Princess Pink, girly and glittery.

I have no idea what this Tilda is actually called (no name on the packaging again) but to me she is called Princess Tilda. As always, she's been coloured with DI markers.
The gorgeous papers are Maja Design Sofiero.
Joy! Crafts Butterfly Border.
Sentiment from PTI on La-La Land Stitched Tabs.
The bow was made from 25mm pale fuchsia sheer ribbon with a button stitched onto the centre.
A few pearls and some Prima enamel dots.

Please pop on over to the Totally Tilda blog and you can see the amazing cards made by all the other Tildarettes.

I believe I can enter my card into the In The Pink challenge, where the theme is stitching, real or faux.

A Berry Merry Christmas

Good morning my lovelies.

Christmas is fast approaching and I'm getting in the spirit of the season...or rather I'm in panic mode as usual! It sure is true, the older I get and the quicker it seems to come around.
I think I've made 4 Christmas cards so far, I guess I'll be buying most of them again this year.

It's been another dark and wet day here and this was the best photo I could come up with, I just couldn't capture how sparkly it is in real life.

The gorgeous Berry is of course designed by Sylvia Zet and available to buy as a Digi or a Rubber stamp.
As usual she's coloured with DI's, mainly markers.
There's glossy accents on the berries to make them shine, and plenty of glamour dust on her ear muffs and boot tops.
The sentiment is from PTI.
The lush papers are again from Maria, a Christmas gift last year.
The bow is made from 15mm Satin Ribbon with a diamante snowflake in the middle, and there's die cut snowflakes on the edge.

Thanks for looking.

Totally Tilda Challenge ~ 84

Good Morning my lovelies.

Today we have a new challenge at Totally Tilda, and the theme for the next fortnight is
'Going Postal For Christmas'.
I never seem to get around to making many Christmas cards so this was a very welcome theme for me.
Just remember to use a post mark, postcard or postage stamp with a Christmas theme.

This little cutie is North Pole Tilda.
She's coloured with the usual DI markers, with lots of Glamour Dust on her gloves and hat, and 'Wink of Stella' pen on the little snowflakes around her...she's very twinkly in real life!
Papers are Pion Design 'Wintertime in Swedish Lapland'.
MFT Die-namics snowflake.
Ecru satin ribbon and a few pearls.
The circular post mark from Inkido was another gift from Maria last Christmas

Snowflake Garland

Good morning !

Oh how I needed that extra hour this morning. With Phil being away the last couple of weeks and Hal now being at Uni, I've been home alone and it's very quiet, so very quiet. And I can't sleep!
I can't get to sleep and then I'm awake early...like 6am early last Sunday. I don't get up at that hour when I'm working, so I needed that extra hour in bed today.
There is a plus side to being home alone...less washing and ironing and less cleaning which only goes to prove what I already knew...that it's boys that make all the mess.

I was off work last week and I managed to get through most of the jobs I had planned and still had some play time :)

This is the gorgeous Snowflake Garland Marci.
As usual, she's coloured with DI's but all markers this time.
I love colouring Marci but I must try and colour her hair in a different shade, I always colour her blonde and I don't know why?
The papers were a gift last Christmas from Maria - thank you sweetie
Ribbon is from the Ribbon Girl, Vintage Ivory Fluted Sheer and Ivory Satin Ribbon.
Lots of glamour dust on the snowflake garland, and on the chipboard snowflake.

Thanks for looking.

Totally Tilda Challenge ~ 83

Good Morning my lovelies.

I'm back today with a card for the new Totally Tilda challenge, and the theme chosen for the next fortnight is 'Just The Ticket'.

I've not coloured this Tilda before...ain't she just so sweet!

As usual, she coloured with DI markers and re-inkers.
The gorgeous papers are Maja Design Vintage Autumn Basics.
The ticket die and stamps are from PTI.
The little row of flags is a mix of  Poppystamps 'Simple Banner' die and Simon Says 'Party Banner Die'.

Our generous sponsor for this challenge is...

Sugar 'n' Spice.

And all things nice
That's what little (and big) girls are made of.

I coloured Sugar 'n' Spice Marci the last time I was off work on holiday...it feels like such a long time ago!
I really need to take more holidays, I love being at home just pottering around in my pj's.
Thankfully I don't have too long to go now before I'm off work again...and I'm counting down the days.

The image is Sugar 'n' Spice Marci from La-La Land.
She's coloured with DI markers, with a sprinkling of Glamour Dust on her hairband and the heart on the cupcake.
The papers are MME...aptly named 'The Sweetest Thing'.
A couple of ribbons, and a few pearls.

I think she's just adorable ♥

Totally Tilda Challenge ~ 82

Good Morning my lovelies.

I'm back today with a card for the Totally Tilda challenge, and the theme for the next fortnight is "Halloween Tilda".
This is a first for me - I've never made a Halloween card before!
I'm not into the whole thing though I do always buy sweets for the kiddies that come a-calling.

This Tilda definitely comes under the heading 'Too Cute to Spook'.
She's been coloured with DI markers.
The papers are from Doodlebug Design, as are the gems, which were a gift off a lovely lady...thank you honey.
The cute little bat was also a gift off another lovely buddy - she sent me a bag full of fabby Halloween embellies as she knew I didn't own any myself...thank you too honey.

Our generous sponsor for this challenge is...

And the prize for one lucky winner is this fabulous set of clear stamps.

Just for Fun...Rowan Fairy

Good Morning my lovelies.

I popped this card on Facebook last week, but I've only just realised that it didn't post on here. I started writing a post and I found it in my drafts folder this morning *sigh*

And so....

This is the gorgeous Rowan Fairy created by the very talented and also very lovely Sylvia Zet.
The image is available to buy as a digital stamp HERE or as a rubber stamp HERE.

She's been coloured mainly with DI markers....an usual colour combo for me. I'm not a huge fan of orange or red but as she is a Rowan Fairy and I wanted to colour the berries red, then that sort of led me on to oranges, and almost Autumnal shades.
The papers are from a very old set, Bo Bunny Kitchen Spice.
Some punched flowers with crystals in the middle, a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp along with the coordinating banner die and a few pearls and that's it.
A very simple card but when an image is this beautiful, it has to be the focal point.
(that and the fact that I'm rubbish with embellies!)

Totally Tilda Challenge ~81.

Good Morning my lovelies.

I know I've been quiet for the past few weeks. We've been getting the boy ready to go off to University, and last Saturday we drove down to London to get him moved into his flat. We said goodbye to Hal and drove to stay the night with my brother in Henlow...I cried all the way there, then cried for most of the journey home on Sunday.
Hal's having a fabulous time! He's made friends and is enjoying - probably too much - night's out in the capitol. On Thursday, his Uncle Tony was in London and he treated Hal to lunch at Jamie Oliver's Italian 'Angel' restaurant...and there was me, sat at my desk with a bowl of soup!  Next week is his Freshers week and then the work starts in earnest.

I've spent this week catching up on our laundry and getting on top of all the chores I'd neglected whilst we were organising Hal, and I think I'm about back to some sort of normality now.

Today we have a new challenge over at Totally Tilda, and the theme for the next fortnight is 'Food, glorious food'.
If you pop on over to the challenge blog you will find plenty of gorgeous inspiration from all the DT girlies.

I do wish Magnolia would label all their stamps with the name of the image! I've been calling this one 'Big Muffin Tilda' for weeks but apparently it's Ice Cream Tilda?
Is that or is that not a muffin case? It is to me!

She's been coloured with the usual mix of DI re-inkers and markers.
I've had the papers for a good while now, they are so lovely that I hate to cut them but it's about time I started to use stuff and not just hoard it!

Totally Tilda Challenge ~ 80

Good Morning my lovelies!

It's time for a new challenge over at Totally Tilda and the theme for the next fortnight is "Gardening Tilda".
For this challenge you are required to add seed packets or gardening tools to your creation...or both!

I feel I should warn you first....I went a bit crazy with the embellishments on this card!

I got this super cute image - Poppy Tilda - for my birthday (thank you Maria ) and she's been waiting patiently to be inked and coloured with the usual mix of DI re-inkers and markers.

Despite having many charms, when I went through them all there wasn't a single gardening tool amongst them, so I was very happy when I remembered the Pion Vintage Garden papers include some seed packets ready to be cut out and assembled. The sentiment is also cut from the same papers along with the two little butterflies.
A few pearls, two ribbons and a button...PHEW! But that's a lot of embellies on one card!

Christmas Is Coming!

Well, my week off work is over and it's back to the grindstone again.
I always have a list of jobs I want to get done when we're off work, but this time none of them got ticked off the list - darn it!

But we did do other stuff...we enjoyed a lovely meal out with Emma and her beau at our favourite restaurant. I learned 2 valuable lessons...that Emma is a terrible influence on me *cough* and that I'm far too old to consume champagne, wine, champagne cocktails and shots without suffering the consequences the following day.
We also had a lovely dinner out with Phils Mum, and an equally lovely lunch out with my parents.

With only a fortnight left until Hal travels down to London and Uni, I took him clothes shopping to top up his wardrobe, and then it was shopping for all the other stuff he needs...pans, wok, cheese grater, cooking utensils, oven tray, duvet, tea towels, dish cloths, the list goes on and on, and not forgetting the most important item...toilet paper!
There's a few bits we still need to buy for him, but I think most of it's done now.

So, not much was done in the crafting department at all.

I made this card a couple of weeks ago and it's pretty much the same as the card I made here.
Same image, same colours, papers from the same range...

I love the image Little Tilda and wanted to make another Christmas card with her.
Coloured as always with DI re-inkers and markers.
The papers are Pion Design Silent Night.
Joy! Crafts Winter Wishes Ice Crystal Border with Frantage on the tips.
A sentiment from PTI, a poinsettia made with spellbinders dies, and a few pearls.

Thanks for looking.

Totally Tilda Challenge ~ 79

Good Morning my lovelies!

It's time for a new challenge at Totally Tilda and the theme for the next fortnight is "Tilda at the seaside or BBQ"
Before I get down to my card, we have some exciting news!
We have a guest designer with us for the next 3 months...
She's amazingly talented, her colouring is simply jaw-dropping, and she can embellish too...not going to be friends with her! No Sir-eee!
Only pulling your leg Mel, I'm delighted to be working with you

Back to my card.
As I'd got some stamps from the new Sea Breeze collection, I went with the Seaside theme...

Tilda on The Beach has been coloured with the usual bad boys...DI re-inkers and markers.
I got the new colours of markers off my BFF Amanda - thank you mwah mwah mwah - and I was itching to use them. I particularly love the shade Evergreen Bough as I have many papers in this shade.

The papers are Echo park Sweet Day - a birthday gift from last year! I now, I'm so bad, but I use do use all my stash eventually.
The waves were cut with a set of PTI dies, as were the little clouds.
Scantily embellished with a bit of twine, a fishy charm and some enamel dots.

Sparklies ~ Candy Winner!

Just a quick post from me to announce the candy winner.
It's been so busy here, so stressful and I am so very tired! This child will be the death of me!
The boy is off to Uni. He didn't get a place at his first choice (Manchester Met). If he had then he would be living at home for the next three years and catching the tram to Uni each day.
But he did get in at London Met, which meant a mad search for accommodation began. I had to get out the jump leads and re-start Phil's heart...he should be in the penthouse suite for what it's costing, not a standard room. Of course we will manage, we have no choice, but my crafty shopping days are well and truly over.
And I have told the child in no uncertain terms, that he had darn well better work his butt off or I'll be using the jump leads on certain bits of his anatomy!

Back to what I'm here for...a big thank you to all the magpies that entered the candy, there can be only one...

Congrats to Erika!!
Please email me with your full postal address and I'll get your goodies popped in the mail to you.

A BIG Birthday!

Good morning my lovelies:)

Today I have a card to show that I made a couple of weeks back, to send to a very sweet lady on her special birthday - her 60th to be exact!
I was a very good girly and didn't stick a mahoosive 60 on the front, but opted for a small, discreet one on the inside instead. And it had to be in shades of pink.

Tilda with Spitz Pocket has been coloured with DI re-inkers and markers.
The delish papers are again Maja Design Sofiera.
A sentiment from PTI, a teeny butterfly and a few pearls.

I'll be back in a couple of days to post the candy winner :)

Blog candy ~ Sparklies!!

When it comes to blog candy, I think hard what to offer.
What would other crafters like to win?
Of course we all have different tastes, and what one person loves then maybe another won't, but my main priority is that any candy is made up of things I love, I buy and I use.

A few months ago I was searching for a gift for the upcoming birthday of my BFF who happens to suffer terribly from an incurable condition called Magpie Syndrome. She is attracted to all things shiny and sparkly...dilated pupils, rapid shallow breathing, feeling red and flushed, eyes like saucers, yep she has it bad!
And searching online I found exactly what I was looking for and ordered some goodies.
She was delighted with them and asked me for the details of where I'd bought them from.
Last week I posted a photo on Facebook of the goodies I'd bought for myself and I was surprised at how many people asked me where I'd bought them from.
You know it's my duty to lead you all into temptation, right?

And what better way to introduce my newly found shop than with a candy?
With this in mind, I emailed the lovely ladies at The Handcrafted Card Company to ask if they would be willing to make me up a goody bag containing a selection of their glorious products.
And I received....

A beautifully decorated box...look at the sparkle on the brooch!!
(Darn it! The ribbon is straight, my legendary photography skills came out to play again!)
My original idea was to post just a photograph of the box...the contents would remain a surprise, but then I had to go (after carefully removing the brooch and untying the ribbon) and open the box, just for a peek.
Oh dear me....I'm suddenly transported back in time to being a little girl and I'm opening the lid of a treasure chest. The contents are seriously gorgeous.
(don't worry, I retied the ribbon and replaced the brooch )

Not wanting to totally spoil the surprise but still wanting to give you an idea of what's in store, I took a photo of the contents. But you can only see the top items, not those nestling underneath :)

A gorgeous selection of pearl and diamante embellishments, ribbon sliders, brooches, ribbons, roses and I'll say no more - I need to leave some surprises.

So...would you like to win this?

Candy is open worldwide, but I am not liable for customs charges that some countries impose.
Candy is open to my followers and friends.
If you're a regular reader then you'll know I don't make any strict rules but if you've time then I'd love you to leave me a comment letting me know what you would like to use these goodies for if you won them. The Handcrafted Card Company supplies goods aimed at the wedding market and DIY wedding stationery, and I've seen their products used on wedding cards, bouquets, shoes, tiaras etc. Whereas I mainly use them to embellish gift wrapping and boxes, I'm just interested to hear what you would like to use them for.
If you wish to spread the word then that would be greatly appreciated.

Finally, one entry per person please, but The Handcrafted Card Company also has a Facebook page, if you wish to visit their page you can find it HERE and if you hit the 'like' button on their page then you can enter the candy twice (just let me know in a comment that you've done it) and double your chances!
Thanks for looking and good luck.
Edited to Add: If you've 'liked' the FB page can you please add your name to the linky twice. So I can use Random to pick the winner...thank you
It seems some folks can't add their name twice.
Those that mentioned they'd 'liked' the FB page but couldn't add their name for the 2nd time, I've added the names myself, otherwise it wouldn't be a fair draw.

Totally Tilda Challenge ~ 78

Good Morning my lovelies :)

Today we have a new challenge at Totally Tilda and the theme for the next fortnight is 'Tilda's Wedding'.

As always, Tilda is coloured with a mix of DI re-inkers and markers.
The papers are Maja Design Vintage Spring basics...still loving these papers and I've now started on pad No2.   A strip of lace (I wish I knew where this had come from, I could do with some more!)
Tilted banner die and stamps from Simon Says Stamp, a punched flower with some sparkle from The Handcrafted Card Company, a few pearls and some Doodlebug design bling (thank you honey).

Our generous sponsor for this challenge is Sir Stampalot

And the prize is TWO Magnolia stamps.

You'll find a gorgeous array of cards over on the Totally Tilda blog from all the other lovely Tildarettes.

I've not been around much this last week (yet again!) which I can only apologise for.
My Mum suffered a stroke on Tuesday and was admitted to Hope Hospital.
Thankfully, due to the speedy actions of my Dad, the ambulance service and the fantastic treatment by the doctors and nurses, she is recovery very well.

Sweet Sparkle

Good morning :)

I have a card to share that I actually made a few weeks ago, but I was waiting for it to make it's journey across many miles to reach it's final destination.

*sigh* I love this image and these papers ♥
Sweet Sparkle is of course designed by the amazingly talented Sylvia Zet and she's available as a rubber stamp HERE or as a digital image HERE.
She's coloured, as always, with a mix of DI re-inkers and markers.
Purples and pinks are colours I use often but on their own, not together, but this was in homage to my friend, (and my hero) as it's a favourite colour combo of hers.

I used lots of birthday goodies on this card...my new Lil' Inkers stitched circles dies, Maja Design Sofiera papers, Simon Says tilted banner die and sentiment, and those little enamel dots.
Thank you to all my friends, for all my lovely goodies...you're the best ♥

I have a lovely weekend planned! The hubby is working away in Wales and won't be home until Sunday evening or even Monday. The boy just sleeps away his days, as does the cat, so it's like being home alone.
And I plan to spend some time in my craft room (sort of praying that no visitors turn up!)
After all, I deserve it! Especially after this morning's trauma!
We were broken in to a couple of years ago, on a Saturday morning between 7 and 8am. Phil had bobbed into work and left home at 7 and discovered the burglary on his return an hour later. I was traumatised because I'd slept through it, blissfully unawares upstairs in my bed.
Since then, I've become slightly obsessed with security, but especially when Phil's working away.

Phil left early this morning while I was still asleep, but I woke up to the sounds of the bin men crashing and banging around outside, and I did wonder what on earth they were doing to make so much noise, they don't usually wake me up. So I might as well get out of bed, and make myself a cuppa. Halfway down the stairs I stopped dead in my tracks at the sight of the front door...wide open.
Jeez but I thought my heart was going to explode, it was banging so hard!
We'd been broken into again? Is there someone still in my house??
Nope, someone had left the door wide open on his way out this morning!! No wonder I thought it was so noisy outside.
I deserve a crafty weekend just to recover from the shock of it all!
(and I deserve some online shopping to ease the pain of my distress)

Totally Tilda Challenge ~ 77

Good Morning my lovelies.

Today we have a new challenge at Totally Tilda and the theme is a Christmas Bingo Grid.

I did two lines.
Straight across the middle - any embossing (Frantage on the tips of the snowflakes),snowflake die cut or punch and gems or pearls.
And straight down the middle - ribbon or lace, snowflake die cut or punch and glitter.

Little Tilda is coloured with the usual mix of DI re-inkers and markers, and her wings are coated with glamour dust...not that my legendary photography skills show it!

The paper is Pion Silent Night.
Joy! Crafts Winter Wishes Ice Crystal Border with Frantage on the tips.
Seam binding with a pearl and diamante embellie, and a few pearls.

Our very generous sponsor for this challenge is Bunny Zoe's Crafts.

And the prize is...

There's a gorgeous array of cards from all the Tildarettes over on the Totally Tilda blog, go take a look and be inspired!

Before I go... I must apologise for being 'missing in action' recently. The exceptionally good weather we're having in the UK is wonderful and I'm not complaining at all, but it's manic working for an A/C company when the temperature starts to rise, and my free time suffers for it.
Never fear, it doesn't last long, all too soon we'll be back to the usual miserable UK weather again.

Thanks for looking.

Totally Tilda Challenge ~ 76

Good morning my lovelies.

Today I have my debut card for Totally Tilda and the challenge theme is 'Titian Tilda' which means you need to colour her tresses a lovely shade of red or bright auburn.

I'm a blonde or brunette kinda gal when it comes to colouring hair so this was a real challenge for me, and I thoroughly enjoyed trying something different...but she could well be more of a ginger nut than a Titian beauty!

This little sweetie is Drip Drop Tilda, available to buy Here.
She's coloured with the usual DI re-inkers and markers.
The gorgeous papers are again from Pion Design.
Embellies: Doo Hickey heart swirl, punched flowers, and a few pearls.

Our generous sponsor for this challenge is The Ribbon Girl

With a prize of a £10 voucher to spend in the store.

Please pop on over to the Totally Tilda Challenge blog to see all the gorgeous cards from the other Tildarettes.

Wee Flower Fairy

I love fairies
I am absolutely sure that the world would be a much better place if we had tiny, beautiful fairies fluttering above our heads and leaving a trail of sparkly dust in their wake.

I do particularly love the fairies drawn by Sylvia Zet...they are just so perfectly sweet!

The gorgeous fairy is available HERE as a set of digital images or HERE as rubber stamps.

As always, she's been coloured with a mix of DI re-inkers and markers.
The papers are from Pion Design Vintage Garden series, and a sentiment from Whimsy.

I did make this card a few weeks ago but I had to wait until it reached its very special destination before popping it on here.

I am waaayyy behind in leaving comments, but I am trying my best to catch up.

Winter Wishes Ice Crystals Border.

Edited to add..
The boy has not picked a winner...he was FAR too busy cleaning his dump of a bedroom!
So I had to get the hubster to step in...

Sorry, it's a terrible photo, I was very late getting home and was rushing to get it done.
Congrats to you Auntie Sue, I'll pop it in the mail tomorrow

This is now closed...back soon when the boy has picked a winner :)

I have a spare Winter Wishes Ice Crystals Border Die by Joy! Crafts.

If you would like to give it a home then please leave a comment but you need to be quick...the boy will pick a name tomorrow.

Thanks for looking.

Keep Smiling :)

Thank you for all your lovely comments on my exciting news yesterday...you are all so sweet!

I do have a Tilda card to show today, but NOT a card for my new DT position at Totally Tilda where the theme for the challenge is Tomboy Tilda and no pink...and as you will see, this card doesn't quite fit that challenge theme!

Yep...pink and girly!

This little lady is Tilda Longstockings...I love this stamp but one of my buddy's says she's horrible, with her backside hanging out!
She's coloured with a mix of DI re-inkers and DI markers.
The papers are (yet again!) Maja Design Vintage Spring basics...I'm almost at the end of the pad now but then I may be forced to buy another one  :)
Punched flowers with Doodlebug candy dots for the centres, and a sentiment from PTI which is stamped onto a label made with MFT Sentiment Strips - one of my many birthday gifts, thank you honey xx

Ta-Da!!!

Exciting stuff to tell you today!

We're at the end of June now and boy but it's been the busiest and best month ever, filled with lots of exciting times and good news.

My heartfelt thanks go to my friends and family for all the birthday wishes, beautiful cards and very generous gifts...I was thoroughly spoilt rotten...VERY thoroughly.

My home is filled with the most beautiful handmade cards, and I got lots of new crafty stash to play with.

I also got some very, very exciting news...
I am now officially a Tildarette on the Totally Tilda Challenge!!!
I was more than a little stunned to be asked but absolutely delighted.
It's a fantastic team to be on and all the ladies are so much fun (as well as amazingly talented) though some of them are very naughty...mostly the ones I already know so I feel perfectly at home!

I will start by joining in with  the next challenge in a fortnight but there is a new challenge today with the theme of "Tomboy Tilda". The sponsor for this challenge is the very lovely Nikki, owner of

gif maker

With the prize from Bunny Zoe's Crafts being...

Please bob on over to the Totally Tilda blog to see all the amazing cards from the Tildarettes.

I also won a candy last week! It was a huge shock as I couldn't win a bag of sand in the desert so I nearly fell off my chair when I found out my name had been picked for this....

Thank you very much La-la Land Crafts and Irina, I will be stalking the postie :)

I'll be back tomorrow with a card...at long last!
Thanks for looking.
